Mind-Blowing Stuff submitted by Meginator on June 12, 2021, 12:48pm I spent about half of my time reading this book nodding at familiar illusions and the other yelling “no, hey, how is that possible!” so I’d say that the book does an excellent job of introducing readers to the science behind optical illusions or, failing that, simply melts their brains a little. The explanations are straightforward and accessible and the book is physically holding up really well despite some heavy use. I recommend this for a solid half hour or so of questioning everything and annoying anyone else in your household as you scream in (mock?) agony, “How is this POSSIBLE?!”
