COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Game of Thrones Season 1 submitted by SBNB on June 16, 2019, 6:11pm The first time I tried watching Game of Thrones, I was still annoyed with the dense slog I had to take through the books to get to anything meaningful in the text, and so my opinion of the show wasn't very high. Then a few years later, I started it again with someone else and I enjoyed it a lot more. Yes, there is a lot of sex and nudity and what not, but it's an interesting world and an interesting story.

Game of Thrones Season 1 submitted by avrogers1 on July 12, 2019, 11:11am This is a great fantasy series. Its about the cutthroat and brutal world of Westeros and the lengths to which people are willing to go to sit on the coveted Iron Throne. The storyline is amazing, the acting and cast are top notch, and theres plenty of intriguing plot twists. It moves pretty fast.

GOT submitted by TLW1998 on July 29, 2019, 9:57pm My husband got me watching this. At first, I didn’t care for it, but then, I became addicted. It’s a great show.

Awesome submitted by gracekil on August 2, 2019, 12:42pm At first I was turned off by the violence and nudity, which there's plenty of, but the characters and the plot are so good I was hooked. It's very unique and amazing production quality.

Game changer submitted by wilcomea on July 19, 2022, 3:27pm Really brought something new to television

Captivating High Fantasy submitted by timbresson on July 25, 2023, 8:24am I borrowed this from the library years ago and finished it within 2 days. The hour long episodes pull you in; even though this is the first season and you’re not fully acquainted with the cast of characters. I know some people have a problem with how this story ends (myself included), but it’s still worth the journey.
