Adventure Time vol. 7 graphic novel submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on August 2, 2016, 10:23pm Ryan North continues to deliver Adventure Time excellence as the writer of this series, and I really liked the multiplicity of artists involved in this volume. The "Macelzine" motif was really fun - presented as an indie 'zine run by Marceline The Vampire Queen with comics contributed by characters such as Princess Bubblegum, Lumpy Space Princess, and Peppermint Butler (who is his usual effective and kind of unsettling self).

The big story that follows is interesting, surreal, and funny. Finn keeps being attacked by a monster that eats large chunks of his memory. We get time jumps of many years, and see The Land of Ooo in the future, and some things have changed a lot. Luckily, some things, like Bubblegum and Marceline's close relationship, have not. But Ooo ends up in dire straits, and everyone must work together to fight for the future! (Which is also the present.)
