The World of Fanfiction submitted by pamhockey25 on June 22, 2021, 12:29am Although I am not familiar with fanfiction, I was still able to enjoy this book. Very contemporary as it is based on social media, the internet, body positivity, dealing with dyslexia. I love this author, this is her first traditionally published book. If you're familiar with this world, I think you would really enjoy the book.
We love to see it

We love plus size romance rep. Honestly, a really solid romance book. I loved Marcus and April's relationship and even though it was an unrealistic situation they still felt so real. There was so much more that was good in this book that I can't think of but just go and read it. I think this is a good book with an interesting plot but I do have some problems.
I remember being quite bored at many parts as it kind of felt drawn out. Also, I'm not really a fan of miscommunication and there were several instances of this which was pretty frustrating. Also, this reminds me of Fangirl in the sense that there were fanfics in between chapters and chat logs which I didn't care about. I literally skipped them because I just didn't care. I want more April and Marcus and less fanfic and their online boring chats.
I still recommend this books because even though there were a couple problems I do think it was a pretty solid romance book and I loved the plus size rep.
