I had been wanting to read the Hunger Games for a long time now, but I just never got around to it. The time flew by very quickly and it was very nice to be doing other things while listening to it.

The story is so insane and compelling. I couldn't stop listening to it!

It is a beautifully written (and spoken) story about Katniss Everdeen who lives in Panem. There are 12 districts in Panem who hold the Hunger Games each year to keep the peace (a televised event where 24 children battle to the death...yikes...), and the Capitol controls it all. When her sister gets chosen to compete in the Hunger Games, Katniss volunteers to go in place of her.

This book joins her on her epic journey around the arena, while she makes friends and enemies.

Will she and her loved ones survive? Find out in this amazing book on CD, or by reading the real thing. I loved this book so much, it was emotional and romantic, gruesome and thrilling. It was a tale of friendship and survival!

I decided to just listen to it by myself. I have been wanting to read the series and am glad to pick it up as an audio book because that means I am actually going to read it!
