New direction for Batman submitted by illy on July 18, 2011, 9:35am Good read. I like what they have been writing for the Dick Grayson/Damian team as Batman & Robin. Great use of the Joker in this book. Really gets to how deep Joker plans his actions. He maybe crazy, but he's definitely one of Batman's most intelligent enemies. However, I have not really cared for the whole Circus of the Strange storyline. I just don' t think Batman needs yet another extremely crazy villain. Sets up a whole new direction for all of the Batman titles, which makes this a must-read for anyone interested in any of the Batman titles.

Third Volume submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on August 10, 2013, 4:25am This is the third and final volume of the excellent Batman & Robin series helmed by Grant Morrison. It is not as strong as the first two, generally, but it is a strong finish and contains the seeds of follow-on series Batman Inc. Still plenty of very creepy moments, the macabre to the downright psychotic. Keeps up the great action and strong characters.

batman submitted by Drake Emmitt on August 15, 2014, 1:03am another good batman time consumer :)

Ok submitted by jduffy12 on August 20, 2016, 9:53pm It is kind of scary

Standard Morrison completion submitted by valjean on August 30, 2018, 6:10am It gets kinda trippy, you feel like maybe you need cliff notes or something, there's quite a bit of hand-waving about a few plot details, but in the end you can probably just walk away shaking your head: a typical Grant Morrison story ending. However, if you made it this far into the series, it's probably worth the effort to finish out the story arc. You can follow-up reading this with Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne and Batman Incorporated (both available from the AADL), which are excellent. I wouldn't skip this one, but I wouldn't be that excited to jump at this either.
