Comic Masters Film Series Playing at the Michigan

The Comic Masters Film Series playing at the Michigan Theater features select comic works by some of Hollywood’s master comedy directors. The series is starting off with films by Woody Allen, and will eventually feature films by Mel Brooks, Blake Edwards and Hal Ashby. The remaining Allen films are Annie Hall, Manhattan, Stardust Memories, Purple Rose of Cairo, Radio Days, and Zelig. Be sure to check the theater’s website for the full schedule of all films playing by all directors between now and mid-December. (Including Young Frankenstein and Harold & Maude!) What a great way to celebrate some of our greatest directors of comedy.

The question I have for you manz, is which scene from Annie Hall is better? Alvy's attempt to recreate the lobsters behind the fridge scene, or the confession Duane (Christopher Walken) makes to Alvy about driving into the oncoming headlights?
Hmmm, that's a tough choice.
Hmmm, that's a tough choice. Being a huge [k: christopher walken| Walken] fan, any scene of any movie he's in instantly becomes priceless. But the recreation of the lobster scene with Annie's replacement, well, it's dang funny too. (I've seen the film several times, and until recently did not notice that Jeff Goldblum is in it! Sure, just for a few secs, but still! And what's even "awesomer" is that Goldblum's photo shows up on the DVD case photos. Strange.)
